Frequently Asked Questions

If you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers, so here’s a whole bunch of topics that we’re often asked about, just so you may not have to.
Wednesday to Sunday 9am til 10pm
201 / 8 The Avenue, Birtinya QLD 4575
Unless we have a ticketed event on, entry into the Station is free. Ticket prices vary per event.

Concert tickets for Platform 1, our main stage, and Alleys Skatepark, can both be purchased through our website.
We do accept cash, although EFTPOS facilities can be used at all food and beverage outlets.
If you’re feeling in any way unwell, it’s probably best for you to steer clear for everyone’s sake, but we hope you’re feeling better soon, so you can come and join us then.
Hand sanitiser stations will be dotted around our venue for your use, and if we find ourselves in another pandemic, rest assured, we’ll be following all the right protocols.
While kids are most welcome at The Station during the day, we’d recommend taking them home at a reasonable hour, as after dark The Station becomes an adult playground.
A good part of our business comes from the sale of food and drinks, so unfortunately we have to ask you not to bring your own. You’ll be spoilt for choice anyway!
Each of our partnered Food Gods will have their own offerings and recommendations, so we ask you to check with them before purchase.
While there is considerable parking, including disability spots, we can’t guarantee there’ll be one for you, so we’d suggest you check out public transport options too.

It’s probably wise to check out Translink to find out what might work best for you, although for certain gigs, we might be running our own bus service with specific pick up and drop off points.

Please visit our Accessibility page on this website to gain some insight into how we can help.

If you’ve misplaced or lost something during your time with us, you can always ask one of our friendly crew and they can point you in the direction of our ‘Lost & Found’ office. That goes for lost children or parents too!
In the case of an extreme weather event, we may have to temporarily close our doors, but don’t panic if you’ve got a ticket to an event, as we’ll be in touch with you regarding rescheduling or a refund.
We have a designated First Aid room permanently manned from 6pm on Friday & Saturday nights, and we’ve also got no less than 5 people manning the skatepark, just in case someone has a stack.
We’re a drug free venue, so that’s a big no no, and we sell alcohol, so you can’t BYO - same goes for food!

Any bags over an A4 size will need to be checked at the gate, and that goes for skate bags too!

Obviously, glass, knives or weapons of ANY kind are also not welcome on our premises.
Under government regulation, we’re not allowed to smoke or vape on site, so that means you can’t either, unless it’s in one of our dedicated smoking areas.
For ticketed events, refund info can be found in the Terms & Conditions on the ticket.
We’re happy to work with you and perhaps one or two of our awesome food partners to get your catering sorted.
We’re a pretty relaxed bunch here at The Station, so the only thing we’ll ask you to wear is close toed footwear, and yes, that means no thongs, and no semi nudity either, of course!
The Station respectfully acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we now all share. We also pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
